Please log your foods! Until I started writing down everything I eat, I had no clue that I was eating more calories than the calories I burned in exercise. You can study what you eat and make changes to be more successful in your weight loss. If you are shy like I was, just write it down for yourself on a sheet of paper or a 3 x 5 inch index card. You can do it!

Deb, I've always sweetened my tea. I like tea - but it tasted a bit bitter to me too. Lately I've switched to flavored liquid stevia drops in my tea. My favorite in tea is the orange. I use it in both green tea and spicy teas that are more chai-like. Perhaps that would make it more palatable to her?

I have to sweeten my tea as well. Natural honey is good as is stevia. Summer I usually make mint tea from apple and spearmint from my yard. Winter it's all kinds.

My daughter is on Weight Watchers diet. She just doesn't like tea but she makes lemonade with Splenda. I even bought lemon flavored tea that had half sugar and half Splenda so the calories were low, but she said she did not like that one either. I gave up on her. I cannot force her to drink tea.

I like the Celestial Seasoning's plain tea. I will have to try their flavors.

Oh Deb, the flavored herbal teas are fantastic. Anything that is a "zinger" is made with hibiscus and will look red in the cup. I order like 8 boxes of 20 bags each at a time.

Zinger goes back to the 60's, beginnings of the natural foods movement. Actually hibiscus tea goes back centuries. It is a primary ingredient in rooibos tea that is supposed to be really good for you.

Wholefood I buy their Lemon Zinger, the Wind Berry Zinger, the Tangerine Zinger, the Raspberry Zinger, a peach flavor, Bengal Spice, and Cranberry Apple Spice. I love their teas. 2 cups a day along with 64 ounces of water for 80 ounces of liquid.

The Celestial Seasoning's that I bought is called Perfect Iced Tea or Unsweetened Black Tea. When I said it was plain, it's because it doesn't have any added flavors or spices. It's just tea. I will look into their flavors. Why not? Change is good. Variety is the spice of life. lol

Bigelow and Stash have a lot of good ones as well. Stash are harder to find. I usually have a collection of teas in my drawer at work and at home. I sometimes pick up different ones in the oriental and mid eastern grocers I frequent. I also have teapots I use often in he winter. Summer tea often turns into iced tea, need to make some today.

@Eddie1261 - You've measured?

I knew I had a sample tea bag in the kitchen, so I looked at it to see if it was a spicy chai or something and it was Japanese green tea. So I drank it and it was good. The company that I order my vitamins from has a selection of tea, so I will check the prices on their tea next time I order vitamins. Need to buy green tea soon!

Oddly enough, green tea gives me a headache. Tried multiple times, with the same result. Headache and slight nausea. I must be the only one on the planet with that issue. And yet, I can eat anything with no problem anywhere.

Made a big pot of tea today fresh cut apple mint, 2 bags of green tea, and 2 bags of Stash wild raspberries and hibiscus tea. Was good hot, should make good iced tea this week, now that I have room in the frig again. Nowiunderstand, maybe you are allergic to it.
