It's Tuesday my fat secret friends! I hope you all have had a good start to your day!

I wanted to list the things that I think contributed to me meeting my weight loss goals in hopes that it may help someone else. And please remember, this is what has worked for ME, your mileage will vary. I will post one tip per weekday.

Tip 8 of 25

Do not eat things that are not on your diet unless you have planned it out in advance.

Eg1. Someone brings donuts to work for everyone. Not planned, DO NOT EAT them!!!

Eg2. You have a family picnic next weekend and want to participate. Make the decision now that you will eat however you want for that day. THEN EAT AND ENJOY!!

Have a great day everybody!

I saw the most progress when I scheduled my eating pattern similar to this 5:2, 1 spike day, and 4 normal calorie days. Even if I ate in excess one day the rest of the week compensated for this adjustment and I would actually lose. I just have not gotten back to that zone. I have to do something to get out of unplanned maintenance. Thanks for posting the tips!

I love this but I have to be very careful what I plan. My "just this one time" end up as a slippery slope of binging sometimes. Not always, but way too much. I've had people tell me over and over and over- Eat what you want, just in moderation.-- If I could do that I would have never gotten fat. lol. So I avoid my trigger foods which are sugars, grains, most white stuff, etc.
