SO happy to see 173 today! Is it real or just a mental motivational pat on the back? It doesn't matter, I will take it! :) This is my new low and I have under 170 is my next mini goal. That will be so nice.
On another note, that I don't know if I wrote about or not, I splurged on myself to get a new belt. I have been using the hubby's belt but now he needs it for himself so if I am still going to wear this jeans without looking like they are sagging like crazy (which is super gross) I needed the belt. This one I am starting with the first hole thinking if I can keep this up, the smaller it can get the better and I won't need to splurge on another one. With loss comes the disappointment of not fitting in these super cute jeans that I have fallen in love with. I don't splurge on "fashionable" clothes, but I got these jeans while on maternity leave with Leo. I had been so happy to see myself in something somewhat trendy since I never pay much mind to my appearance in a confidence boosting way. These pants being too big bums me out and even using them with belt is a bummer because the belt tightens them to the point that button sags beneath it. I pull the sides around and that helps but then the lose parts look like pooch!
While out to get the kids baptismal gear, the hubby found some nice shirts and I was excited seeing him try them on. Don't get me wrong, I am incredibly attracted to him, but he's gotten like me where a big shirt and some comfy shorts works. The other day when we were going out he asked if he looked ok in it and I said, "If you are comfortable that's good, but I try to make myself look good so that people see you and they see you aren't with some rough looking lady." I wasn't saying he was rough looking, I just want to look nice for him and I am trying to think about that when I get dressed for work now. He went down and had come back looking so sharp! I loved it! Anyways, when we went out he tried on some shirts and new shorts and wow he looked so good! I gotta make a point to get him new clothes more often because he looked amazing and very spiffy. So spiffy everyone in his office took notice of his new bright shirt too! I hope that made him feel really good. He deserves to feel complimented by people and I am so happy he got that! :) Not only was the shirt new, but he was able to get an XL instead of a 2XL! He looked amazing.
I so love that man!
