Crazy hard swim yesterday, I think someone messed with the speed because the first set was super fast and I ended up stopping after 500 for water and a break. Heart rate confirms this as it went from resting-160 in that set. It's no fun when it's like that and I wasn't warmed up enough for it, honestly. I did finish it though. For the whole, 829 strokes, 9.6 METs (have a couple rests in there) average heart rate down to 146. 12 minutes in peak at the start, the rest in cardio and warm up. Weird set, think I fixed it, but until I'm back on my own in the pool, just no way to know what I'm up against.
Medium walk, gorgeous night, no drama anywhere, stopped and let kids pet the dogs again. They need a bath this weekend, they stink like dogs. This is why we go to the beach, I need to remember that.
Blob up, muscle holding. Ravenous this morning. All good, happy Monday. Keeping these short today. Onwards.
