Hey Mary, I’m struggling with my weight loss. I need someone who I can be accountable with. I’ve tried to get my daughter on board but she isn’t close to being ready yet, so I’m doing this journey alone. If you’re looking for a weight loss partner I’m willing to try, maybe we can help each other!

Good morning Mary. I’m not sure what time zone you are in, I’m on the east coast. Do you own a fit bit or some other tracker? My goal today is to get over 5k steps. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but I find it hard to get that many in a regular day. This week I’m on a roll, green stars for both Sunday and Monday, so I’m hoping for green stars for the week (baby steps!!!) Let me know what goals you have for the week!

Mary, I’m East Coat, so I believe I’m ahead. When it’s 10 am here it’s 7am in California, so I think you are in between that!

Mary, that sounds great. I’ve been walking around the cranberry bogs in our back yard this past week. But on Monday I think I’m going to add light weights to get back in the habit. How’s your eating habits? I’m finding it hard to make meal plans this past week. I did good for the first week, but planning 3 meals a day, prepping for all of them and staying on track seems daunting the end of this week. Hopefully it gets better 😌

Hello cicirox, It's very hard for me to stay on track.i will start out eating and working out for about two weeks and then for some reason i just stop. Try prepping on Sunday for lunch and dinner for two days.

Good Monday morning Mary! This past weekend, I bought some prepared salads for lunch from my local store. They are 240 calories including the dressing, and it’s single serve. They were decent priced so that’s one meal down for the week. I struggle with breakfast since I don’t like already prepared things like omelettes to reheat, I haven’t found an overnight oats recipe that I like, so for me it’s hard boiled eggs and whole grain bread with a little Miracle Whip, almost like egg salad with less fat. We do eat chicken a lot at dinner with veggies, and then I do sheet pan meals, and there isn’t much prep for that. I do rely on frozen and canned veggies, but I love fresh and love roasting them. I will do a bunch of veggies on a sheet pan and roast them, add them to pasta with some veggie base and meat free meal. This weekend was a munch fest for me, not sure why, but I counted it and went over, but it is what it is! I weigh in on Friday so hopefully this week won’t be too bad. I am going to try small weights today to see how it goes. Did you try the exercise tape last week?

Hi cicirox, Breakfast is hard for me too since i work 8 and 9 hrs days. Maybe we can try finding breakfast recipes? What is sheet pan meals? I go over too! Let try eating clean next week for 4 days! I didn't exercise this weekend but i started working out 30 min in the morning and 30 minutes on elipicore in evening.

Good morning Mary, I set up that group, but can only access it from a computer not my iPad. Not sure if you have the same issue. I thought it might be easier, but maybe not. I weighed in today and am up .3 lbs. I’ve been tracking everything, walking everyday and getting green stars across the board on my Fitbit which is great! But it’s not showing on the scale! I’m getting discouraged... my sons birthday was Monday night and I sent home the extra ice cream and cupcakes with my girls so it wouldn’t be tempting, I’ve been eating fruit, not eating back any exercise calories and yet still gained! This is when I just want to say that this effort isn’t worth it...I truly hope you are doing better 😊

Hey cicirox, I'm having problems with the group page i only got my phone. Maybe we just communicate here. Don't gave up. Some weeks we might not loss weight only inches and that's good too. Let's think about what can we do to loss the next week.

Good morning Mary, I agree, the group page was a pain! So if we are clean eating next week, I will have to look that up to make sure I have food to eat or make since I’m not sure what clean eating is. Are you meal planning for those days?

I'm thinking cleaning eating is no sugar, bread, and high carbs. If find out something different let me no.

It’s not going as well as I expected. I threw my back out Monday morning and have had to rely on my husband for most of my meals. It isn’t too bad, but this wasn’t what I was expecting to do with this week. I’ve had a lot of fresh fruit, eggs, no cereals, or sugars. I did have whole grain bread, but I read that as long as it isn’t processed it’s not that bad. And I have natural p/butter. No dairy... my dinner last night wasn’t great, but I think I manage meals today, the pain has gotten better! I will most likely do the clean eating until Friday. How about you, are you managing better than me?
