The pain is subsiding a little bit more. I woke up at 2:15 and went back to bed. I woke up again at 3:15. I got up. I was thinking this morning about where I was and where I am now. I keep wondering if I was a failure at the gastric bypass thing. I was thinking about it this morning and wondering. I figured up that I lost a total of 134 lbs. I lost that and kept it off for a while. I don't know exactly how long it was.Then I figured out that I gained 57 lbs. in 2 years. I stayed steady at that 57 lbs gain for a while too. So even tho I gained. I didn't gain it all back. Now I'm back following the rules and trying very hard to embrace my new life style.

Since I was having such a problem sleeping because of the pain. And I get up at 3am every morning. I decided to conduct an experiment with the exercise that I try to do every day. I thought maybe it might be better for me if I did the Challenge exercises right before I went back to bed in the morning. Take 4 Tylenol and maybe sleep off the pain before it comes. I was thinking that when I exercised on a regular basis before I did the majority of it right before I went to bed. I think it might have helped. I was able to sleep. I didn't toss and turn and wake up many times. I felt okay when I got up too. So that may be my new routine. See how I sleep tonight.

Challenge Day 5=70 squats, 30 sit ups that are like crunches, 12 crunches, 12 leg raises, 20 second plank that actually got off the floor this time, 1 minute skaters, 1 minute less than jumpy jump rope, 1 minute less than stellar jumping jacks, 1 minute skaters, 15 lateral lunges per side, 30 scissors, 12 fire hydrants per side, 12 plie squat pulses, 12 wall push ups, 15 wall triangle push ups, 30 bicep curls with 3 lbs, 25 second punches, 12 wood chopper per side with 3 lbs, 15 ankle touches per side, 15 ankle touches per side to replace side planks, 12 russian twists per side with 3 lbs.

Did 1 hour and 14 minutes of Wii work out. It said I burned 349 calories. I "ran" for 30 minutes and went 7.585 miles. I also was able to complete 30 minutes of a 40 minute step video. 5 minutes more than yesterday! Still haven't done the bed routine. I'm just so tired that I want to get up and just go to bed. Something I need to work on. I think it will benefit me in relaxation. So...Why don't I just do it then???!!!

Tomorrow is weigh in day. I don't think I'll see much progress. But I see progress in other things. Don't get me wrong...I'll be disappointed if the scales doesn't go down. But I can look at the other things and see positive.
