I found out why I haven't been feeling well. Or at least what I think the reason is. When I made my protein shake yesterday I looked at the soy milk I was using. I looked at the expiration date on it. It was out of date for almost a month! It didn't smell funny or taste funny. I feel so stupid.

Today was weigh in day number 2. I lost 3.4 lbs. So I'm down 10.0 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm happy about that. I was hoping that I would be able to lose that much especially since I was swollen.

I think I'm going to stay on full liquids for another 2 weeks. I was having a problem wanting to start on anything else because I lost the paperwork that helped me keep my eating straight. I couldn't find it. So I called the doctor's office. I couldn't believe it! They emailed me a copy of it. So now I have all the tools I need. I think so anyway. When I was cleaning out my computer I found a neat file. It has all the rules, food option and more that will help me keep it all straight. I'm going to print it out and keep it with me. Along with my journal. I'm going to print it in a book and size it down.

I slept most of the day today. I woke up at 2pm. I felt rested at least I stayed asleep for long stretches. I know that help me.

I didn't do any exercise to speak of. So a bust on that. But it's okay. I'll work on it tomorrow.

I'm making progress. It feels so good to be able to say that. To be lighter. It's going to take effort. And I'm going to try really hard not to think about it all the time. Is there a way to not think about it all the time??!! I want to weigh myself all the time. But I hold myself back to once a week. Is it cheating to sign into the Wii and have it tell me what my BMI is??

I keep thinking about all the food that is in my cupboard that shouldn't be there. All I want to do is get rid of it. Not because I'm tempted but because I want to make room for all the foods I'm excited to buy again. I'm thinking about all the different ways I can get the protein in. It seems all jumbled in there and makes me feel confused. So hopefully this week we can get it cleaned out and organized.

I'm so glad you threw out that expired milk! I hope that helps. Congrats on your weight loss. Staying on liquids may help you. I don't like losing that fast, personally, but I'm really glad it's working for you! So glad you got your paperwork, too! You have a lot to be happy about this week!
