The Love of Fit's Journal, 21 January 2014

I feel like such a walking hypocrite. I want to look fit and healthy so badly yet I keep craving such horrible foods. I went out and bought so much produce and healthy snacks - now I'm considering driving in a snow storm to get a chocolate bar. If technology is so wonderful and advanced why can't they make chocolate that's only 10 calories, or make a celery stick taste like a sticky bun? These are my questions to the world.
So far I've stuck to my calories today, and the rest of the day is mapped for success. But I have to say, being home bored all day with only school work makes it very difficult to not hop in my car and drive the 4 miles to WaWa for some Dove Chocolate with Peanut Butter on Toast.

You are clearly suffering (and even admitting it) from "I am bored so I want something sweet" kind of thing. Brace yourself and resist to boredom's attempt to make you fat! :)

Paint your toenails. Give yourself a facial. Whiten your teeth. Play your favorite cd and dance while singing into your hairbrush. heehee The moment will pass!

You can have sweet stuff you just have to make it healthy and eat it in moderation. There are plenty of healthy dessert recipes online. I hope this helps. Hang in there!

Oh Love......I know exactly what you are talking about!!! I think of things justvto go to the dollar store. They sell those Lindt balls for .34 cents each. They are a whooping 76 calories each!! But somehow I have convinced myself I NEED it!! Somedays......more than one....:( I have tracked it :( It is like my mouth hurts until I have the chocolate. Hate it......I feel like a hypocrite.......I want to not have all this fat.... Best to you!

Ever tried Chocolate Flavoring drops by LorAnn Oils ? It's pretty good to pop some of that in with a fruit and protein smoothie. I have some with stevia and it works wonders just in a cup of water.

I like my some sweets too but instead of eating a whole candy bar I just eat a piece or two and save the rest. When I buy one it takes me about 5 days to eat a king size one and since I know I can have another piece tomorrow I don't binge. Don't know if this would help you.
