Very pretty. I too have never had a persimmon. I guess we northern gals haven't had as much exposure to this fruit. 🤔

I have never had a persimmon either. I know they grow on trees because of a book I read once. I want to try it!

I have a persimmon tree in the pasture. Not ever had any though

They are magical and I don't know what to even compare it to as far as another fruit. Depending on how ripe it is, it can range from firm to a custard consistency. I love it with cinnamon or cardamom and it's very good warmed up as well. You do have to wait for them to be ripe though.
