Those birds are so awesome, how exciting to watch them. French toast looks good, too.

I love birds. woodpeckers are awesome. the part of town I'm in now doesn't have a big variety. mr and mrs cardinal hang around my place so that's cool. think my hummers all left for the season.

Thanks, Katsolo and #One! I couldn't resist posting Dino (the big guy) again with a couple other pictures to contrast his massive size! I love feeding the birds! We have a pretty big variety here and I supply every kind of feed and feeder I possibly can! #One, I have never seen a cardinal! I would absolutely love to! Our Anna's humming birds stay here year round. When we have a cold snap, which isn't very often, I bring the sugar water in at night to thaw (or several times during the day change it out) and they are there in the morning sipping their breakfast. I can't imagine how those bright little jewels manage in the snow and ice!

I like the birds. Here in So. Cal. I mostly see mocking birds and small birds possibly finches.

I do love the woodpeckers. I think my favorite birds are my rowdy jays that come for peanuts each morning while I have my coffee, but I think Dino here is just incredible. I don't think he IS scary, but that powerful beak and slightly prehistoric body shape sure LOOKS scary! 😁 From the tip of his beak to his crest, it has to be at least five inches... Maybe 6. His head is bigger than the little woodpecker! I am so glad for these beautiful visitors!!!

Rhubarb and strawberries. I so love that combo. Need to get mine out of the freezer. I have it with my chia putting. What kind of woodpecker is the top one.

It was so tasty, liv, but I think a bit more on the tart side would be even better! 😁 The top two are northern flickers. They are my husband's favorites. The males have striking orange cheeks, and so much flashy orange can be seen under their wings when they fly. We see them dozens of times a day! Three seem to spend much of their day in and around our yard. I wish I could actually get good pictures. A poor phone camera isn't the best for birds!! 😁

That is so interesting to see a white chickadee! Love his name!!! We had a crazy flicker pecking on our roof once too. I couldn't sleep in. Your breakfast looks delicious!!! Have a good day Melissa!
