Thank you guys! I just love this tree and it was so stunning this morning in full bloom. I knocked the snow out of it a couple years ago when we had one of our very rare winter storms. Trees fell and branches broke everywhere in the area from the feet of heavy snow we got. So..... My claim is valid right? 😁

I’ve never seen a pink one. I’ve only came across white ones. Thanks for sharing, this is stunning and very beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

When I was little, we buried my first pet in the yard and planted a pink dogwood just like this there. I can still see the tree on Google maps. It makes me happy. I love the pink blooms and I always think of the cross.

Thank you, Paige! Najwa, I think either are so beautiful, but pink just seems like cotton candy! You know it, CMC! :) Katsolo, that is both sad and beautiful. How special that your tree is still growing!

Wow a pink dogwood, so pretty! We have a white one in our backyard. It’s not in bloom quite yet. Well done on your weigh-ins!

Nice loss and a beautiful view

We have a baby dogwood trying to grow in the forest of grass and weeds in our front yard...it seems like we have every toxic weed there is. 😂
That is a lovely picture and way to go!

Thank you all so much! I am glad you can enjoy this beautiful bit of creation with me! Chris, you can make something out of just a branch? Come on up and get some! :) You can bring your lovely lady, we can "social distance" around the firepit, and you can meet my crazy family! :) Although, even if possible to grow something from a branch, my tiny understanding of horticulture makes me think you have to have something when first starting to grow in the spring?

Oh wow! I miss the flowering trees of Southern California. I can't get used to Colorado Springs where I am (temporarily) living - the trees here today on May 1 are still twiggy winter-like trees and all the plains are tan. No color - so thank you for sharing "your" tree!
