Jillian kicked my butt again last night, but I won out in the end. I felt kind of guilty that all I got done was - feeding the birds, the dogs, eating supper and working out. But I was tired, and just didn't feel like any further torture.
This morning at work I decided to just drop down in my office and knock out some pushups. I thought, "Well, I haven't done them for a couple days, let's see how it goes." I got into the plank position, knocked out 10 real easily, and thought, "Wow, this feels really good." I knocked out another 10, and "I can't believe how strong I feel." Did another 5 and thought, "This is just too good to be true; I'm not going to overdo it." 25 good strong pushups without any pain or struggle. I think doing those deep pushups with that apparatus that goes over the doorway for pullups is really helping me. And, it appears that going a couple of days without doing them, is making me stronger also. Can't wait till I'm another 30 pounds lighter.
I put the battery in my vintage 82 Harley and took it for a little spin. I think I'm going to spring for a new clutch and see if it doesn't rejuvenate it a little; it kind of shudders when I take off. If DW doesn't start participating a little more i some local rides, I just might take off for Sturgis in August by myself.
Well, enough babbling. I need to get back to work; I can't go on stretching my lunch hour each day. Pretty soon I'd find myself retired - again. Toodles!
