Well instead Of being out enjoying the sunshine I am making kumquat marmalade. Lots of experimentation. I made 4 jars with lavender honey (excellent) 4 with lemon and ginger and clover honey and the winner is forest honey (a very slight pine taste) fresh squeezed orange juice, with a tiny piece of star anise and candied ginger. That will be the formula for the next couple of quarts and then I will be done. The only hard part is slicing them all up— not actually hard just time consuming. Do you want to know how many TASTES of this high sugar product I have had in order to get this far. You don’t want to know. But, I’m pretty sure the calories don’t count when you are experimenting.. very seldom do you see a cooking show host that is slender. At the same time I am making pot roast, hibiscus ice tea and Nopales.

Yes you are right— he and Giada. I know Bobby works out a lot. I’m assuming Giada does as well as having a very controlled WOE off camera..
