The perks of living close to the 3rd largest city in the state is that you can get an MRI at 11:15 PM. (Had to accompany wife for comfort despite spending a long day in the office and extra time on road due to excessive traffic from the World Series Red Sox parade 4 blocks from my office) Starting off November strong and severely sleep deprived. I am probably 213.X but with only 3 hrs of sleep in me, I am holding on to some weight, Heading to commuter van now for a power nap. Onward

Awe thanks @jengetfit123 - I set a goal so long ago to update that picture when I hit 200. I may change that profile picture at the 210 instead. @Erquiaga - without a little die, the beard would be white like Santa. @jenjabba - She will follow up w/her primary soon. I must have had some super strong coffee at 7 AM because I am still going. @chrisw77 - thanks bro. I am working on changing a few things around when I get home but I can't change my arrival time to my house which leaves me with only an average of 2 hrs before I have to go to bed. It sucks but this is my situation. I am passing on the afternoon coffee so I can catch an hour nap on the way home. Thanks again all for your prayers and hope

Thanks @Draglist - I don't see the fat guy staring back at me in the mirror anymore but it took a long time to get here mentally. As for travel and sleep, we are warriors and we fight on.

You are correct Chesgreen. Lol. I remind my hubs about the “ happy wife happy life” thing every now and then. He’s not buying it.🤨

Lack of sleep raises serotonin levels through the roof. Sleep is just as important to your health as dieting.

Fluid on the knee. Ouch! I hope she gets better soon. That’s a painful problem 🤕

Sleep is a necessity, this coming from the queen of not sleeping. But really, theres an increased risk of heart attack that comes with getting less than 6 hours of sleep a night.
Hope your wife gets to feeling better, I've been in that position a few times over the years. It still amazes me how much fluid can accumulate in a knee. If she has to wait before they do anything for her tell her to drink lots of water, make sure she elevates as much as humanly possible and to use moist heat (I used microwaved wet washcloth or handtowel for years).
