I made a BIG tuna salad tonight. I used kohlrabi in it. First time I’ve had it. I have a couple of friends who eat it often and love it. Well, I did too. The texture is reminiscencent of a potatoe with a lightly radish/peppery flavor. Great crunch factor. It will be an everyday additive to my salads from now on— as long as I can find it. I also put purslane in my salad. That is a common weed that grows everywhere and now I am growing it in a pot on my porch both kohlrabi and purslane have amazing nutritional value and are very good for adding to my important micros.
