Proud of you. I'd have to relocate them to another office down the hall or in a different building...

My safety next at work is my can of protein powder. When I hit it hard it can cause just as much damage because in a recent podcast I heard with Dr. Jason Fung he says that high amounts of protein will trigger insulin production...

@chrisw77 - My 'screw it' was about trying to 'control my eating'. So today was a 'screw it'. But, I can only afford to do that a few days a month... at the MOST :)

Insulin is the hormone that drives turning protein eaten into lean mass. It has many unique and absolutely required actions ..... we would die without it. Eating protein does not cause an increase in lean mass by itself. There must be a stimulus, such as increased muscle activity. When protein and stimulus are present, insulin encourages lean mass synthesis.

@Gail531 - Insulin is not bad, just high levels of it. This is only a problem for insulin resistant people.

Adef, we know that but I read many posts in which a major goal is to not stimulate any release of insulin at all. Also, insulin does not cause insulin resistance.
