22 This was the view from my front step last night at 11:15 PM. As you can see (between the street lamps) it's still light enough on the ground to go for a walk down a road or in a field. That's about as dark as it will get tonight. The twighlight horizon will simply slide across to the East before the sun comes up again. I'm finding it far easier to cut calories now that I can eat to maintenance whenever I feel like it. Oddly, it seems to have freed me to lose again. (Hubris.) lol I'm not convinced that this is a loss so much as it is a return to actual weight after the gain caused by water after carb bloating (I won't call it carb loading, because it was more than that... and it was Father's day). In any case, this idea of flexible dieting knowing I can eat to maintenance when I want to, and IF on the low cal days seems to be working for me. Is Prius more environmentally friendly? Thanks to Mahjohn for suggesting this video to me.

Bruce, if you have this long of days in the summer, how long are your nights in the winter??

Hmm... Daylight about 9 and dark by 3:30? Something like that. Love the summer. Hate the winter.

I am sure, I don't know if I could survive mentally intact with that short of a period of sunlight.....I am most definitely solar powered!

How far north are you? I'm in central Alberta, and we have very short nights right now, too.

A walk would be great, Brenda. @Doll. I'm about a 2.5 hour drive from the panhandle in BC. A little town called Burns Lake.
