HCB. I'm feeling great, though at the moment I am reassessing many, many things. It's interesting to be in your 50s and come to 'aha' moments that reframe most of life's experience. I'm not sure which should be more concerning, coming to those realizations, or never coming to that point and moving blindly forward with an understanding based on the lies you've been told all your life. How's that? :)

That is so very true - humans think over 80,000 random thoughts per day, and because we are blessed with a brain hard-wired to problem solve and connect meanings, we pull crap from the random thoughts, put it together and feed ourselves "beliefs" about our world. They are just thoughts about 90% of the time...not really facts. Go figure!

I read, not so long ago, that the majority of stress people have in their lives is from too many choices. Now that ice cream, other than Klondike bars, are off the list, way fewer choices.
