Well, that's a disappointment. 239.6 - same place I was three days ago, and 0.4 pounds higher than I was two days ago! Don't know what's up with that, but it's discouraging. Only lost 0.8 pounds for the week, on 1,652 average calories. Every other week (of the 11), when I've eaten in the 1,600's range, I've lost 1.4 to 1.8 pounds. My knee has been bothering me lately, so maybe it's inflammation around that? I'll just keep plugging along.
Busy day today. Have to leave home at 8am to take my MIL to get an echocardiogram done. She's been dizzy off and on, and had to wear a Holter monitor, which determined that she has a heart arrhythmia. (HEY! I spelled that without having to have it spell-checked!) She has a follow-up appointment with the heart doctor on Wednesday.
After that, I'm going to BJ's, then home to make T.G.I. Friday's Chicken for lunch. Already made the Parsleyed Potatoes, "glazed" carrots (only used Truvia and Cinnamon with some butter), and String Beans yesterday. Need to get that made quickly because I have a Bible Study phone call with my best friend at 12:30. We meet to do that on Mondays and Fridays. We're doing a Beth Moore study on David "Seeking a Heart Like His."
Been making good progress on purging all my pantries and food shelving. Yesterday I tossed a bunch of Paleo-based things, some of which had an expiration date of 2017!! Things like Psyllium Husks, and Cassava flour. 11 things that freed up 4 big Tupperware containers which I washed and then put stuff into that are still in my "Tupperware pantry". I like to keep things like pudding mixes and cake mixes in Tupperware, because we live on 10 acres of field which can very occasionally get field mice, which try to find a way into the pantry. Thankfully, that only happens every couple of years, and they never get into anything.
OK, lots to do. Thankfully, I'm NOT going to indulge in something I shouldn't have because of being disappointed about the small weight loss this week. Sometimes, things are just easier to deal with than at other times. I don't understand why God sometimes makes it be easy and sometimes lets it be hard. Praying that the next time a hard one comes along, I'll likewise be able to resist.
