Well, on the diet/exercise front, things are going very well. I’ve got 15 consecutive days of walking six miles a day under my belt. My back has been REALLY hurting, every day, so it’s been a challenge. Yesterday, I could only walk 1/2 mile at a time, but I got it all in before bedtime. Calories have averaged under 1,800/day for several weeks. On the home front, though, things are in even more turmoil. My daughter’s boyfriend beat her up while she was driving! She told a friend about it, and the friend told the guy’s heavy metal band and his job where he is a bartender. He got fired from his job and is suspended from the band while they investigate. My daughter (38) is VERY depressed and do embarrassed by all this, and by has received death threats from fans of the band. Daily soap opera around me!!!
