Im 58 years old... Im a Halloween baby, I was here before on FS about 3 years ago.
I was participating on the Atkins way of life and lost 25 lbs in 3 months...
I then just kind of followed low carb at times after the loss of weight... making my own rules and as the years past... I just stopped.
As I began to feel exhausted and sluggish and my diet was consisting of more carbs than not, my energy level just began to crashed and my clothing was becoming very tight I felt just awful.
I realized then if I was to continue my nursing job of 27 years which requires long hours of working at times and tons of energy I had to take a different approach.
I personally feel that FS is the most supportive group of people I have ever come across and now that Im back I continue to feel this way, I feel that I should have never left... but knowledge is key and Im grateful that I have realized this and that it was time to begin my new journey here.
Im a huge animal lover, Max is my 4 year old Yorkie poo, I have a wonderful hubby of 4 years now, an older married son, they have 3 lovely children ... my grandchildren, a 20 yr. old daughter who still resides at home and she is currently attended her 3rd year at UC
I love to travel, I love warm climate weather, I love God, and I feel your health is the most precious blessing you can receive in life. I am currently trying the keto way of life and Im very excited for this choice and to be back here on FS.
