Here's a fascinating video for y'all. It's a mercifully short lecture about the role of mitochondrial function, exercise, dopamine - basically the biochemistry of pleasure and weight gain/loss. Dr. Nadir
I found it very thought provoking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-fQJAifTg0

If you are wondering about those confusing Lipid Panel results, here is a very illuminating YouTube from Doctor Robert Lustig, author of the book: Metabolical. He explains how to interpret your report (LDL, total Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides and their relationships).

I got my Lipid panel back from my check up. At the exam, the new doc was very impressed that I've lost 75 lbs and kept it off without drugs or surgery. I told her I eat keto -no comment. My Ldl is high, but my triglycerides and HDL are normal and my A!C is down from 5.7 last year - borderline pre-diabetic to 5.1 this year, which I'm happy to see. There's room for improvement, but I'm moving in the right direction.
