No net loss this week. Maybe next week 🤷♀️ Will keep going with 16:8 and portion control now through Sunday, then start 3 day fast Sunday night.

Net loss for this 5 day fast is 4.6 lb. My granddaughter said I don't "wobble" anymore when I walk. She meant I don't waddle. I can simply walk forward without the side to side action. I am able to walk faster as well and stairs are easier. Next 3 day fast starts Monday after dinner.

Last night, I fancied myself driving to CVS, dropping off film, buying two king sized candy bars, and eating them in the car. My next thought was logging the candy, sucking up the weight gain, and talking about it on FS, which I didn't want to do, so imagined myself NOT logging the candy, staying off FS until I recovered my weight loss, and actually spiraling back into binge eating behavior, ballooning up over 300 lb again. So, I decided to skip the candy bars. The habit of logging my food and weight loss progress actually helps me stay on track, so thank you for being there, reading my posts and comments, and regarding me as a fellow on the journey ❤ I could not do it without you 🙂

Three days fasted and two days to go, so of course I'm thinking about food! I started craving liver yesterday, so will eat liver Sunday and Monday. Need to start bone broth today for break fast Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon is a bridal shower. The theme is Fairy Garden Tea Party, and that reads cookies to me. Maybe finger sandwiches. No real food, in any case. We'll see.

Had a couple of victories today: 1) I fit into a 2X top 2) I left my food unfinished at the restaurant and explained to the waitress why I wasn't interested in boxing it up. The corned beef was sliced and the fat and connective tissue made it difficult to bite through and chew. She said they used to shred the corned beef and since they started slicing it, lots of people are sending it back. I had eaten half of it and didn't expect a refund, but she took it off the bill anyway. I just didn't want to spend my calories on that. Not only was the corned beef wrong, but I could not taste any tanginess from the saurkraut. I adjusted my food log and planned a dinner including kraut ❤️ I will try a new restaurant next week and continue my quest for a great reuben 🤗
