Hi guys, whats everyones plans for weighing in through the holiday season? I weighed in on Sunday and intend to do Xmas Eve, the 29th and then back to normal (every Saturday for me!) from the 4th! Hopefully doing 3 weigh ins (24th, 29th, 4th) will be an incentive to not go mad! The goal is to just get through it all and come out at 15 st 4 lbs (dropping 0.3 lbs!)! Please pass on any advice you have for getting through it without packing on pounds! Thanks, Joel

Great idea on the extra weigh-ins. I'll do the same. As for controlling the insanity, I'm taking a lot of precautions this year (I gained almost 25 lbs. between Thanksgiving and New Years last year). First I'm cooking a smaller menu, with healthier foods. I love to bake, so I'm still going to make Christmas cookies -- but I'm using lower-fat, lower-carb recipes. I've been giving away the candy and other goodies friends and family insist on sending to me. Finally I'm counting on my partner and friends to smack my hands away from the goodies once I've enjoyed *appropriate* amounts.
