I have to get myself into gear. I sound like a broken record I know. I was 214 lbs 5 days ago, and since then i have weighed myself a couple times, and I put a pound on each time. I don't know if the scale is off or what, but I'm freaking out a little bit. I just want to reach my goal and go from there. I am close to it. My lowest in the past few months has been 211 lbs and I was so happy. But it didn't last very long. I just don't know what I should do about my diet. I cut out all meats for 3 months....and I lost about 5 pounds that I've been able to keep off, that's it. And today is the day that I'm planning on starting to eat meat again, cause I was only doing a 3 month challenge, and that ended yesterday. Now I'm thinking I need to cut out dairy. But I just love my cheese, and it goes on a lot of the foods I eat. All I know is I have to change something about my diet...I just don't know what. And I don't have the funds to get on weight watchers or anything like that, so I have to figure out a way to lose on my own and from the help of others around me. Any advice? It would be very much appreciated.

I can give you a "jump start" plan which will most likely yield you a loss of 10 lbs in 10 days. I don't recommend staying on it long term, and like most "diets' don't go crazy when you go back to "normal" foods. Practice what I preach, I KNOW! Lol... anyhow 1 apple, 2 melba toast, 2 cups veggies or salad mix, 3 oz protein, balsamic vinegar as a "dressing", coffee and tea are ok, lots of water. repeat all items. That is it, the first 3 days are a bit trying, but if you gave up meat for 3 months I would say you can do it!!

>"loss of 10 lbs in 10 days." a lb of fat is 3500 calories. If she runs a 1000 calorie deficit per day(very difficult), she'd lose 2.8lbs of fat. I just wanted to put into perspective how much of these "Lose a ton of weight fast" diets are mostly water loss through glycogen depletion. Its the exact same reason lchf losses are over-stated, and the reason they Yo-Yo so hard. The goal is to lose fat. There's no point in depleting yourself of water just to watch a number drop. Not only is it not the goal, It comes back just as fast as it left. >"anyhow 1 apple, 2 melba toast, 2 cups veggies or salad mix, 3 oz protein, balsamic vinegar as a "dressing", coffee and tea are ok, lots of water. repeat all items. That is it"There is also no magic arrangement of foods to eat or not eat for weight loss to happen. Its an energy balance equation. Energy in vs energy out.
