I am doing a challenge called No Weigh May. I have decided to start a little early and not weigh until my birthday (June 4th). This will be quite challenging to me as I have become obsessed with the scale. So, this challenge will be a good start for me to learn to have a healthy relationship with the scale.

Since it seems that you do get on quite often this could prove to be quite a challenge for you but I think if you can do it will be maybe a lesson in the art of just healthy eating and patience. I weigh in on the 1st of every month and let the clothes the way I feel tell the story plus since none of us are perfect it gives you a little wiggle room without getting down on yourself if you overdo one day. It also I think gives your body a little chance to stabilize and not just from water loss or gain.

spot15, it definitely will be challenging. I have put the scale in the attic and won't get it until June. I am excited to learn not to look to the scale so much.

Such a good challenge. I know it can be hard not to obsess over the scale, but I think success is more accurately measured in things like "_____days straight under my calories" or "_____days of 20% carbs". Taking out the emotional piece helps me to focus on skill-building rather than making judgements about myself.
