I don't know what is going on today! I am seriously hungry and could eat the house! I didn't eat any sugary or high glycemic or processed foods; no idea what's causing this! I'm also not having low blood sugar. I am just hungry! hungry! ugh!

I had the same problem today. I couldn't stop eating the almond butter till it was gone.

I too have been having days like that lately, maybe not enough protein? Today I upped the protein, am not as hungry, not opening the fridge to look for something.

what proteins do not have fats? tuna out of the can? fage 0% chicken breast my ratios are all off today!

Did you get enough sleep last night? A lack of sleep is supposed to increase the appetite. If you've been extra active, you're feeling actual hunger.

I think everyone has those days sometimes. It might just be your metabolism working well. Protein and fat help with satiated ( I like avocados or peanut butter).

Your FatSecret RDI (see at the bottom of your daily food log) is set to 1500 calories. Since yesterday (August 19) you ate only 1264 calories, today (August 20) your body and mind were feeling that hunger and you ate 1636 calories, more than your FatSecret RDI setting of 1500 calories.

Could be your hormones? a day or two before my Ladytime starts I could eat half a pig on toast and still look for something else :)

Cycle time hits me like that too. Right before M's arrival, I crave sugar. It helps me to remind myself, Ok, it's just that time of the month. And then I have an easier time ignoring it.

I was going to say, I'm always ravenous before my cycle. I think it's the body's way of preparing for burning up and purging the system of the resources it stores in anticipation of a possible pregnancy. So EAT! Just make good food choices. Fruits are great for sugar cravings, and I'm finding so is Frozen yogurt, in moderation of course.
