Still having a hard time making it to ten am to eat. I wake up so early. I've been going on eating 9 hours instead of 8 because of my craft show. But I am eating alot less, recording everything and trying to drink more water in the am when I'm hungry. Seems to be a good thing as I've seen my calories naturally be less without trying. I'm sticking with it.

It is better to snack on something really small, rather than be hungry. Hunger sets off the body's emergency plan, which is to hunker down and hang on to fat. Nuts are a very good thing to snack on if you can just do tiny batches of them. Or fruit.

The whole point is to give the body a break from processing food. I wont die waiting a few hours for breakfast. I have to give this a good go. It's had a great deal of study behind it.

I would assume that you could move your eating time to start and end earlier if morning hunger gets the best of you, without breaking any rules. I read how it's training the body to be aware and maybe comforted that nobody will die going x hours without food. I'll be curious how it works for you. I have noticed with myself that when I get super hungry, I have tended to overeat, but maybe this won't be an issue for you. 😘. I agree with the plan of drinking lots of water!

I actually have joined a challenge on it and they were doing it from noon to 8pm which I thought insane so I switched from 10 to 6 because usually we eat dinner between 5 and 6, so ten is more ideal but yes, 8 hours however you can swing it. We'll see. How goes it for you?

I'm not in the challenge but 16:8 was easy for me. Heck, I don't eat when I wake up anyway..and I work f rom home so I just fix my apple cider water drink..sip.. then fix a cup of tea.. and by that times.. its noon! I've been eating noon, 3 pm and a light snack at 7 pm. The hardest time is from 8-10 pm before I go to bed. So I make sure I go at 10 to keep from eating! Good luck!!!
