Yesterday ended up being pretty much a shopping day. Trying to shop at Kroger with coupons, a list on my phone & social distancing is not an especially easy feat! People were pretty much wandering with no apparent purpose 😐 Maybe like me they've become unaccustomed to a normal outing. We stocked up on meals for Hubby & I tried to take advantage of savings on items I had discounts for. Our Kroger also sells clothing so I took a few minutes to browse. I bought a couple of solid t shirts & a print sleeveless shirt. They were a great deal so I figured if they didn't fit I wasn't out a lot of money til I would be able to return them. Many stores aren't taking returns right now. The sleeveless shirt was a little big under the arms but it's 100% cotton so I threw it in the wash today. Hopefully it will be fine. I bought peaches & cherries. Usually I sniff the peaches to see how ripe they are....hard to do with a mask on 😷 I had 1 for breakfast & they are good.
Today I'm doing laundry & trying to get organized to pack. I couldn't find my mini bottle for shampoo so ended up under the bathroom sink with stuff all around me on the floor 🙄 Never found my bottle but I did end up throwing out stuff. Decided to throw a travel size sample shampoo in.
We found small bottles of hand sanitizer at Walmart yesterday so we picked up 2. The cashier would not ring up both, even if I paid cash, seperately. (Hubby was buying other stuff) I had to take my 1 little 97 cent bottle & find another cashier to purchase it. I get it they don't want people hoarding but there were 2 of us trying to buy 2 little bottles.
I took a break for a snack...need to get back to work 😊 Leftover pork tenderloin and salad for dinner tonight. Maybe some oven cooked yellow squash with it. I bought one & I doubt Hubby will cook it while I'm away.
