Tanita BF531 Digital weight scale results are not all that accurate.
I think we all tend to trust high tech electronic devices, at least that's my tendency.
However this scale is always over 0.5Lb high, and the Body Fat measurement is beginning to look like a wild guess on it's part.
This morning I weighed in at 145.5Lb using the BF531 digital scale and the doctors balance beam scale shows me as 144.3Lb
Also this BF531 scale shows my body fat as 11%. but if I check immediately and hold a 5 Lb weight in my hand it shows my body fat as 12.5%.
I'm quite sure there's no fat in the 5Lb iron weight. :)
