And, we’re leaning out nicely for my 70.3 backyard triathlon. I’ve actually taken off around 6 lbs since February since I started training and got the runner’s knee. Effectively I’ve taken about 24 lbs of pressure off the knee and tendinitis on my left foot. Makes a big difference on runs and that knee feels much more stable. The rehab exercises definitely helped! Needless to say there are some good reasons why triathletes stay on the lean side and the knees are definitely one of them! I also fit in 2 sessions per week of weights and strength training so I can keep strong the muscles that are supporting the other muscles 💪 I use so much. My muscle composition is so interesting now 😂
