I had much to celebrate in April; -Getting below 200 lbs -All my size 12's fitting again -Hitting the 40 lbs lost mark since starting the Bright Line Eating in November -Getting back to my wedding weight from 5 1/2 years ago -Hitting my 60 lb goal that I set last April 2016 These were all big deals for me. On May 1st I did a closet and dresser purge. I was able to get rid of a lot of clothes though the process made me feel rather sad. The clothes that I packed up and moved out were all my size 14's,(I had gotten rid of my size 16's a few months ago). Some of those 14's had been in my life for 5, 10, even 15 years. I've spent the majority of this century in a 14 and part of my identity and my memories were tied up in that cloth. Typically when I lose enough weight to get into a size 12 I hang on to the 14's "just in case" but this time was different. I realized that I had changed my identity and that I would never again be over 200 lbs. This made it easier to move out the 14's because I won't be wearing them again.
