Yesterday I got messed up and ended up binge eating low carb food. As often happens, I knew I was going to be out all day and I didnt think about my food. I ate my breakfast and lunch but then I was not able to eat again by 4, which is my fasting cutoff time. I had wanted to try my cauliflower crust to make a pizza. So I got annoyed. And annoyed led to binge. I got home and part of me didnt want to eat and the part that looked forward to that pizza like a little kid wouldnt let it go.
So I ended up stomping around the house, in conflict, and I decided to eat the pizza, which created guilt. I ended up eating cheese and other low carb stuff, then the pizza. Of course I got a stomach ache.
I am back on schedule today. Binge eating will always be with me. It takes constant vigilance to be prepared so it doesnt happen. But when it does you have to be kind to yourself, figure out how to prevent it for next time, and recommit to your plan.
