TheKarenS's Journal, 02 January 2012

I'm still doing pretty well with my mindset. I have not done quite as well with my choices, but at least I'm aware AND able to control myself. :-)

I've starting tracking my food, however I won't start my 'diet' until the 6th. My plan is to do induction for a week, then see how I can add more 'mainstream' foods back to my diet. For example, tonight I really enjoyed a bowl of Wendy's chili. If I can do that occasionally then I won't feel deprived.

I've been working on drinking more water, I've started the food journaling, and next will be regular exercise. I'm running along beside the proverbial wagon. :-)

Happy New Year to everyone!

Why wait until the 6th?!? Well done on everything else - it's good to feel that control, isn't it?

Yes! I'm waiting until the 6th because we haven't celebrated Christmas yet (that will be the 5th) and I want to eat grandmother's cornbread dressing with Christmas dinner. I don't want to go into induction, and then eat dressing and gravy. Also, I like to start on Fridays. I don't why, I'm just quirky. :-) Also, while I'm thinking about you *wink* I'm very interested in the spiking and how to calculate that and work it. I need to go back and read your messages, but would be very appreciative of your help. 'Talk' to you soon, I hope!
