I feel so very much better. I am no longer hanging over my fat pants. I am, however, hanging over all the others. I have so far to go just to get to ground zero. But I've got all these others now right along side me. I feel like if I let me down, I'm also letting them down. Makes me stronger. I don't really know how they are doing so well. I thought I was doing good then, zam, I look at where they are and it makes me try harder. When I really, really miss chocolate I take a tiny little nibble. It's getting less and less though. I keep looking at the percentages of Carbs, to Protein, to fat and trying to balance that 40-50% carb, 25-35% protein, and 20-30% fat. It's such a struggle to understand what it requires me to eat to get those balances. However, I know when I do learn it, it will be like breathing. I will know what to choose to nurture myself. I will however always have to have one little nibble of chocolate...not a whole piece...just a nibble!

I just looked at my carb/protein/fat percentages. It's the red meat. Dah! It's what they always tell you but I couldn't understand it until I thunked my head on it! I will now limit red meat intake and try for more fish and chicken. By the way, just a side note, my husband does NOT want to give up cookies.
