If you eat Fish, then eat Fish. I eat Sardines and Smoked Herring (love em'), Avocado, also another great staple. Get some Spaghetti squash, also Cauliflower Rice. Ensure you add-in some good multi-vitamins, vegetarians often lack in some key nutrients...but nothing a vitamin can't make up for. Also...look in to some Shakes. Nature's Bounty Complete Vitamin Shake Mix is awesome..highly recommend it. Lastly....if you're not hungry, why are you worried about it your calories....calories are a loose fuzzy calculated number, it's not hard and rigid.

Good point about worrying about calories...gonna have shrimp with garlic butter for dinner later : ) I don't eat sardines or herring. The shakes I have total 6 carbs (protein powder 3g and 3 cups unsweetened almond milk 3g)

It is not good to eat a lot of fish and sea food because they contain mercury and other "nice things" like that. Other types of fish, including the farming ones, contain antibiotics and other chemicals.

There are many sources to this, just look online. You have to consume fish and seafood in moderate amount, like 2 servings a week, maximum. Sorry!

lol, those are the 2 I eat the most. I just had an ounce of blue cheese in my eggs with hot sauce! I've noticed on some packages of shredded the carbs can be high so I shred my own. I think it has to do with an additive to keep from sticking together.

okay so cheese is tricky since milk has lots of carbs, some cheeses are very high in carbs. looks like chedder had (.4 a slice) and muenster (.3 a slice) and I love muenster!

Cheese is typically 1 to 2 grams of carbs per slice... Well within your carb range.

Avocados are excellent. Get fat and calories without the carbs. And try making some heavier calorie dishes like broccoli quiche and vegetable casseroles with lots of cheese. Both make good leftovers.

A lot of the sugar in the milk goes out with the whey as they are making it, so hard cheeses are very low carbs, but watch the soft and unripened ones like Ricotta. Milk is not the same as cheese when it comes en it comes to carbs!! Take a moment to wonder why/how pigs fatten on whey - it's where the sugar is.......

Hi! I'm doing Atkins fat fast right now -and know whats awesome? Parmesan crisps! -you just put tablespoons of grated parmesan (grate it yourself) in little piles and put them on a baking tray with NONSTICK foil or parchment paper (trust me on the nonstick part)and sprinkle pepper on them, then bake them in a 350 degree oven for like 6 minutes or so until they melt into little circles and you get 0 carb cheesy "crackers" (make sure they cool down before you eat them for crispiness to happen) :) Also, chinese broccoli (the super leafy kind) or kale or spinach sauteed in a TON of lemon garlic butter with chili flake. Also avocados with tabasco and lime and sour cream. You are not doomed to shrimp scampi forever -though actually, that is not a bad fate (i love garlic butter shrimp)

Try using Marie's blue cheese dressing for calories, you NEED your fats. Are you using coconut oil too?

Yummy 120wg, would love dinner at your place lol! Will do the dressing thing. To be honest, never into veggies at all so Atkins forces me to eat them which is really good for me.
