My last year has been hell. I've strayed so far from healthy eating it's not even funny. I've gained back every pound I lost when I went on ozempic. They have changed me to mounjero and I'm going to try to get back on my diet. last year I lost weight kept track of my food and everything and then my grandma passed away and I had to remodel my house before we moved back and easy food got me off track. any advice on cheap easy high protein low carb food is appreciated. also things to pack for lunch at work with no fridge and no cooler would be helpful. thank you all in advance.

Egg whites, body fortress protein shakes, can you grab one of those small ice blocks and put in an insulated lunch box that way you could pack things like canned chicken breast (or chicken breast itself), tunafish, canned salmon. Some of the built bars are high protein and low carb also (tho i dont like them). Hope this helps. Also, maybe dont think of it as a diet just a way of eating to protect your body and promote well being?

For lunch bring an apple or banana or both for sure. Beef jerky would work too (though it can be expensive). Some nuts but not too much as they are high in calories. Individually wrapped cheese would work too.

For dinner, it’s always protein, greens, one serving of bread, and then dark chocolate. I have 1 glass of red wine to spice it up.

Tuna is cheap. Eggs are still doable. Look for sales on protein and buy in bulk. Freeze down for future use. Depending on how low you want to take your carbs you can buy some yogurt, cottage cheese, tofu, and you can buy beans in bulk and cook them up in large quantities for salads and sides. Make hummus. For lunch you can do lettuce wraps or other kind of wraps. Pack a frozen waterbottle with it and food will keep fine Good luck

I just made 2 gallons of split pea soup for the next month. It’s ready and healthy. Great idea for lunch.

Yes you can bring soups in a thermos if there is not microwave available

For an easy high protein snack, I just discovered ‘egg bakes’ done in muffin tins. Easy to transport & can be eaten warm or cold. Preheat oven to 350, 375°. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Scramble up a couple eggs & add in whatever extra proteins/veggies you want. Pour into muffin tins and bake until top starts to brown slightly. Refrigerate or freeze, when cooled. • Each ‘muffin’ works out to be about 1/2 an egg, depending on how many extras you add in & how full you fill the muffin tins.

I agree with the advice especially the insulated lunch bag and like YOH suggested for convenience try the pouch versions at your grocery store tuna or salmon and you could make yourself a salad or sandwich too 🗣️Just remember we’re here & You Got This💯🤩
