Rockiesfan's Journal, 18 September 2015

Just looking back at my weight since I first joined FS 2010, I have had my struggles, lost a bunch the put it back on lost on lost on, When I started back in March of 2014 it took me 6 months to get where I wanted to be original goal 195 then I changed my goal to 185 so I have never gotten there yet but I am really good with that because since losing the weight, I have been able to maintain and not get stuck in that cycle of going back up after losing so good job I am proud of ME.

Maintaining is a huge achievement and in many ways more difficult than simply losing. To be stable for a year is AWESOME!

Hopefully it will someday not even be a conscientious struggle, and you'll be able to balance food portion sizes with exercise just by sense. Remember learning to drive a manual transmission or a motorcycle for the first time, and you had to concentrate to remember gas/brake/clutch/gear? And now it's just automatic. Thin people go just by feel in their routines.

You should be proud. I joined a year ahead of you and lost 40 lbs I am proud too so I totally agree with you. About 6 months ago it started coming back on. so I came right back to FS to start recording my food intake. and calorie burn. I tried for 2 months without it and lost 0. Now I have lost 3 of the 10 i want to losethat I gained back!

I agree - I sort of did the same thing - but FS keeps me conscious, aware, and motivated. You should be proud of yourself!
