Wow August already. No more slacking for me I did last week and gain 2 but its okay it can come off just as easily as it went on. And to prove I am not slacking yesterday my daughter and I hiked up Pikes Peak 13.1 miles in around 7 hours we went from about 6500ft 14,500ft it was a good day and really not to stiff today.

Wow, Pikes Peak that sounds great and cool you did it with your daughter! Never been there but would like to. Have a great week, 2 lbs of short term gain comes off quick.

That was a long hike, you burned a lot of cals, you will lose those 2 lbs soon.

The last 3 miles were the worst the air gets real thin harder to oxygen in the blood to the muscles

Burn more calories if you carry a back pack full of 2 gallons water :)

Soon that would have been about an extra 14 lbs on my back, as it was I had lunch, snacks and 3 quarts of water in my pack.
