Yes, Sk. 💕🍷 I just drink red but keep a bottle of "chateau screwtop" Sauvignon Blanc in the frig for deglazing my skillet when I cook chicken breasts for a quick lemon caper pan sauce. I ❤️ Piccata!

Excellent Janie 🍷👍 But screwtop does not mean cheap wine. And if you‘re looking for a great white cooking wine, grab the TraderJoes Giardino della Venezia 2022 Pinot Grigio for $3.99/btl. I would actually enjoy a glass of this if served. Cheers!

Thanks for the tip Sk❣️ I used to buy the La Ferme Julien Rouge by the case at Trader Joe's but they stopped selling it. I have always been partial to French wine. Way back I bought Parteger red table wine in a gallon jug at the grocery store, then it was Pinot Evil when it was made in France, then it was from Hungary instead. I like the 3 liter box of Ropiteau Pinot Noir from Total Wine, a way better deal than buying 4 bottles and because it was vacuum sealed it didn't spoil. It is just too handy to just turn on the tap. 😊🍷🍷 Here in NC Trader Joe's has no $3.99 wine, $5.99 is probably the cheapest but I wouldn't cook with anything I wouldn't drink anyway.

I think the usually price might be more but it was a new release. And I never judge a wine by its price. That being said, I‘m not a fan of 2-Buck Chuck. But I do have a Porteguese blend from COSTCO that received 90pts from WneSpectator that cost me only $4.97/bottle. Drinks great on Day 3 but cooks great from Day 1-30 🍷🍷

I love relaxing with a good bottle of wine but don't do it often..🍷🍷

I once went to a wine tasting where there were maybe 8 tastings offered. Labels and bottles appropriately disguised. We knew there was a high end and a low. Turned out the unanimous best wine of all was the very lowest of all and the high end bottle was a $60 bottle and this was a number of years ago. Even the “conissours amongst us were impressed. You never know. Just drink what you like.
