Nikihampton's Journal, 20 March 2015

efforts are proving successful. We have a volleyball tournament in Kansas City this weekend. leave out tonight and back home on Sunday. I am really worried about food. I am taking lots of fruits, already cut up veggies and mixed bags for protein shakes but I know there is going to be some bad choices made. Just have to limit them. We are going to eat as a group at the cheese cake factory one day. I hope I at least stay the same when I weigh back in Monday am. So heres where we pray for a plateau. lol. Wish me luck.

Check out Cheesecake factory menu ahead of time online. They have some Asian wraps that may fit your program easily and you can ask for fruit with whipped cream for dessert instead of eating cheesecake. Set yourself up to succeed!

Don't forget a little exercise will give you more calories to burn. If you are in the tournament you'll be fine. If you are not, go walking, running, jump rope, etc. Also, have low calorie meals for breakfast and lunch. You'll be fine.

Going in with a plan helps. Good job bringing along the fruit and veggies. I hope your daughter goes well and you all have a great time at the tournament. :)

Just have a great time. I am finding it is much more difficult to make "bad" choices than good as I am so much more aware. I'm sure you will be the same. It is a good idea to check out the Cheese Factory menu ahead of time. Have fun!

Check the calories of the items on the menu beforehand and choose items you like that are lower in calories. And don't forget to eat low cal meals for breakfast and lunch. Also, large unsweetened Lemon Zinger teas are great with 0 calories. And will help to make you feel full before and between meals.

Oh, by the way, I enjoyed that expression, "dairy air."

Lemon Zinger tea is an herbal tea by Celestial. You can get tea bags or Lemon Zinger K Cups by Keurig. Delicious even without a sweetener.
