If you've been keeping up with my journals you know that I've been trying random gyms in the area thanks to my fitness passport.
Last Thursday I went to my first Capoeira class, and that was a great workout! Its a lot less structured than Tae Kwon Do or Karate, the movements more fluid. I was sweating up a storm and laughing at the same time as class ended. I plan on trying my best to get back there at some point.
Tonight I got to try TRX Training, which is where you use your own body weight for exercise. There's a great article with photos here. While it didn't burn a whole lot of calories according to my fitbit, it was some really overdue muscle work (read: going to be super sore tomorrow!).
......aaaand I've got another go round with zumba on Wednesday.
Happy Monday!

I missed this journal from September. How are the classes going? Sounds like a lot of fun and hard work.

TRX is a great weight training tool especially if you have good trainers to help you with your form and different arm positions.
