Today I joined a few support groups. I am trying to stay on track. No binge eating. It is my "bad time" -- after 8 pm.

I need to start coming up with interesting things to do from 8 to 10 pm. Some hobby or something with my hands that you can't do while eating.

I don't have any money right now b/c I'm on unemployment and my new job doesn't start until July 7.

Well, there are still lots of things you can do with minimal $$.

I am going to write something on an index card and whenever I feel the need to binge...wherever I happen to be...I can pull this card out and read it. I am thinking of starting a little inspiration journal out of a small spiral notebook (like 4 x 5). I am going to get some glue sticks and then when I see something I can cut it out and paste it in there.

There is something about connecting your hands to a project that makes a connection in the brain. I am very hands on so the act of cutting / pasting / writing would be more effective than just computer.

Alot of people forget that there are many ways people learn. I often wonder if all of this computer stuff and no hands on causes some of us hands on types to not learn as well. There is something to be said about taking notes the old fashioned way in a notebook with a pen or pencil and writing while listening.

Oh by the way, I have Adult ADD so as you can see I wound from one topic to another...although they were connected. Yikes...
