Wow over 17,000 steps! Did you go to an amusement park!?! Great idea to get exercise in before shot.
Good luck!

Nice job! And yeah, your arm is going to be sore, and you may be achy, but overall the shot itself is pretty painless (got mine a month ago, my second dose is this week). Good luck!

I am finally getting my first shot on Sunday!

I actually never got sore or feeling bad from either shot (Phizer). Guess I was so relieved to have it over. Didn't notice anything else!

Just got my second shot of Madera a few days ago. A little headachy, slight chills, and fatigue by early afternoon. After dinner, took a Tylenol and went to bed early. All was well in the AM.

First shot, sore at injection site. Second shot, following morning had extreme chills, moderate headache and body aches like I was coming down with something. Went home and stayed in bed. By evening, I was feeling much better. Not too bad overall. I had the Moderna (spelling?) vaccine.

I'm a young 75 years with a previous heart attack, have been on registration list since Jan. 19 and got a notice that there are 420,000 people out of 650,000 still ahead of me😱. Congrats to those of you who have gotten your shots.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Everything went well and everything was very organized. I received the Moderna vaccine today. I'm still going to follow CDC guidelines. My Wife and I were amazed. We never considered that we would face a pandemic and find ourselves in a line to be vaccinated. Prayers for us who have had it and those still waiting...

John10251– science has known for a long time that it was inevitable that a pandemic of some type was coming. Even with that forewarning, or as some see it, “fear mongering” , we were still not even minimally prepared With a general plan. Hopefully the next time, and there will be a next time, we as a nation and as families and individuals will be a little more prepared.

@NJBF, The one thing that bothered me was the registration process. When I registered there was not an opportunity to list preexisting conditions. How can they prioritize us in the most need if we are not identified. Prayers...
