Sugar this morning is 128, approximately 2 hours after breakfast. I managed to hold steady on the weight while on the cruise and lose an additional half a pound over the week-end.
The cruise was wonderful! For breakfast, most mornings, it was a toasted bagle with cream cheese and some fruit. Lunch was something small as well, and well dinner...I did my best to make the healthy choices. However, the Chef's Dinner that we had on the last night. OMG! It was a 9-course meal with a red wine and a white wine, after 2 glasses of champagne. Words can not describe how delicious that meal was and well worth the money we paid to do it. Cocoa butter wrapped grape tomatoes...and I don't even like tomatoes!
I did drink alcohol on the trip, and I got a 75 minute massage on the first port day in Progreso. I'm ready to go again!!
Now that we're back home and it's back to the grind, classes start tonight, twice a week, Mon and Wed nights. But it's only half the summer term, so I guess I won't complain too terribly much, though I am nervous about it. Classical Mythology. The part that worries me, is that it's been so long since I was last in school and I'll have papers to write in this class.
I'll start another journal entry with my sugars...and I need to log my breakfast.
It's a great day!
