Wow nice NSV (non-scale victory) today! I went from a red bar to an orange bar on my weight log. Hurray! 13 pounds down!

The hardest things so far are portion control and not eating after dinner. I'm sure many of you share that battle.

I got a Wendy's single cheeseburger with no bun for lunch. I ate it and it was like ok, that took about 5 seconds. What the heck? Portion control - 1 cheeseburger not 2. Grrr. Too bad - you will get used to it! Makes me a little sad.

My Dad thinks eating like this is ridiculous. He says I should be able to portion control "food I like". Well, I believe I tried that a few 100 times. He doesn't understand Food Addiction and Binge Eating. I liked the Wendy's cheeseburger. I just would have liked it BETTER if it was a double with bacon and a bunch of stuff on it on a nice bun.

Geeze the other day I got a side salad with the the Cheeseburger. I asked what the salad dressings were - they had one with Apple Cider Vinegar. Well, wow, that stuff is good for you! A healthy salad dressing. WRONG! It had 8 grams of sugar (2 tsp) - WOWOWOW. That is ridiculous. I'm not eating that. So I just brought the salad home and ate it the next day for lunch.

OK enough blathering. Have a great day everyone! It's actually warmer out for a change up here in snowy upstate NY.

I like to order the McDonald's "Quarter Pounder Patty Only." It only costs $2 if you order it that way. I bring it home, and put it on a bed of lettuce, with some tomato, cut-up pickle spears, and mayo. Tastes like a delicious hamburger!

You're doing well! Your father may be more supportive when he sees your progress. I had a Wendy's Double Baconator minus the bun, and ate it with a knife and fork. It was great!

yes portion control . Eating healthy...I am striving to be better.

Every time I eat out I use Google for low calorie/carb food. I am surprised by all the choices. All of the fast food chains will wrap your chicken sandwich in lettuce leaf. Just have to watch the sauces!!! Tricky little sauces, ketchup, etc.. Allot of sugar. Who knew..
