Hello my fantastic followers! I am just checking in halfway through my business trip. Happy to say I am sticking well to my plan for nutrition and training.
The first day I went to the hotel “gym” and it was a poor excuse for a gym. They had a treadmill, a bike and an elliptical. Strangely, there was a weight bench but NO weights. I still did the elliptical 30 minutes and sweat but did not feel it was a full workout.
So, I got myself to the local Orange Theory Fitness today, as my birthday present to myself, and will go again Tuesday before I leave town. It requires extra effort getting up much earlier and getting an Uber to get there, but is worth the effort!
Tonight was my birthday dinner with friends so I went high carb and allowed pasta, bread and wine. Although it was heavier food, I did not overdo it. The high carbs will catch up with me next week though...that’s for sure.
