Hello all!

I am a mom, grandmother, daughter, graphic designer, caregiver...not neccesarily in that order.

I have been an overweight couch potato for most of my 50+yrs, not that I'm lazy but exercise and outdoor activities have rarely been part of my life. I always described myself as an "indoor girl" being more interested in reading and art than hiking and biking.

I'm working on changing who I tell myself I am.

I used to be against traditional "dieting" because there was a little switch that goes off in my brain when I begin to attempt to follow a plan that compelled me to rebel.

I have since discovered that "switch" was CARBS. When I adhere to a very low carb diet... the switch is off!

I'd love to find like minded buddies so that we can support one another.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I'm with everyone else.
Weighing daily keeps me accountable and also helps me see the fluctuations, realizing that a pound or so up or down is no biggie!
Losing weight is really tough for me I will go a week (a week of strict exercise and food logging) with no movement and then BOOM 3lbs!
It doesn't always reflect my hard work right away, but it's headed in the right direction!
