Seasoned Beef Goulash

The way my grandmother makes it, except with plain yogurt instead of cream.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix egg, garlic, half of the chopped pepper, half of the paprika, salt and pepper into the beef hamburger. Let marinade sit for an hour.
  2. Form hamburger into 12 meatballs (tablespoon size). Fry in a non-stick skillet. Drain the fat out when the meatballs have browned.
  3. Add the tomatoes and the other half of the pepper and paprika. Let simmer for half an hour or so or until most of the liquid from the tomatoes has evaporated.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in the yogurt and a squeeze of lemon.
