Pork Chops Dijon

Quick, easy to make pork chops that are really yummy.

  1. Trim excess fat from chops.
  2. In small bowl combine the salad dressing, Dijon-style mustard and black pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of chops with mixture.
  4. Add the chops to a 12-inch skillet with 2 tbsp of olive oil and cook covered, over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Turn chops over. Add the thinly sliced onion.
  6. Cook covered for another 5 to 10 minutes or until chops and onion are tender.
  7. To serve, place chops on a platter; top with onions and pan juices.

Thicken the sauce after cooking. Most of the flavour is in the sauce.

This was a fantastic recipe. So easy but so delicious. Next time i will increase the mustard sauce because it dried out toward the end but other than that excellent!

Since I was out of dijon, I ended up using spicy brown mustard instead. Very yummy! The onions and italian dressing were a nice touch. Thanks for sharing!

Made it for my family and my in-laws. It was a huge hit! Plus, it was extremely easy to prepare. I added a little honey and garlic which would alter the calories slightly (honey) but I like the low-calorie aspect of such a tasty dish.
